I agree with the PO from 1985. This campground had to go through a planning board review just like everything else and it seems like some are trying to change the agreement after the fact. I would personally like to see the BOD display the original agreed upon site plan for LACA which is enforcable going forth and watch the reactions of those who have chosen to look the other way over the years. I have said before and I will say again, we were allowed to police ourselves over the years with our own compliance officer and apparently very little oversight from the Town until recently. We were extended a courtesy of sorts by being able to police ourselves and we failed. Just with anything else in life if you fail to follow the rules you pay a price for it. Why do you think our attorney is not running to court with this. Because she and the BOD know that our case is a loser. Hang on to your hats folks. And rather than bash or attack me ask to have the BOD openly display our site plan agreement at the annual meeting and let the facts speak for themselves.

If you follow the RV industry you will find Park Model Trailers were introduced in 1976 into the camping community and were purchased by many campers who had previously towed travel trailers and the reason was to circumvent the cost of gas while towing and only having to drive to destination campgrounds, not only Lake Adventure, but to many campgrounds, drive to Pleasant Acres Campground in Sussex or Pocono Vacation Park near Stroudsburg and you will see the majority of the sites have park mopdels. Lake Adventure owners followed suit and ther developer had a sales office on site that sold park models with double and full slide outs that would equal 400 square feet, this was also listed in the upgraded by-laws. Don't make remarks about what should or should not be allowed in the community. If the Federal and State allows them, along with the RV industry, owners should be granted permission to purchase such units and place them on their lots if they see fit. If you want only your camping trailer fine but the majority of property owners were NOT campers before they purchased at Lake Adventure and view their trailers as summer get aways similar to a cabin in the woods so people view our community in a way that suits them
THEY SHOULD JUST SELL AND GOTO EAGLE LAKE AND DO US ALL A FAVOR.
