I just got back from LA and yes there is a decent size pot hole at the entrance way but I'm not sure its on LA property. It might very well be on the states right of way. With that said and assuming I'm correct I don't think we should put any money into it. Riding through the park there were the usual depressions throughout but I did notice what appeared to be a sizeable road repair made at Village Drive and Big Bass. My point is that it looks like the staff is making an effort to make repairs and God knows I saw staff almost every where I went this morning. Make no mistake I am no fan of Bill Warms and his holier than thou attitude but it does appear that the rank and file staff outside of the main office is doing their job and deserve some credit.
If you choose to ignore the fact that the DEP mandated those upgrades that's your problem, and by the way it was the Mgmt. Co. that started the loan application for the $4.6 million, then left. That was the interest rate at the time and the entire board had no choice but to go for it or face a $250,000 fine. Obviously you didn't bother to read any of the bulletins that were published to explain what was being done, or you just want to push your agenda and ignore facts. If dues had been raised little by little over the years, we wouldn't have been in this mess, and now we seem to be going back to the same thing, more important to get elected than do what's right for the WHOLE COMMUNITY and make sure we have the proper income to run LACA.
