After spending the weekend at LA and getting home and going over what I observed there I came up with the following gripes, A. Upon entering you see three buildings, the guardhouse, laundry room and the office. All three have the most appaling colors with the guardhouse looking like Santa's workshop, the laundry room looks like they painted it with leftover paint from someplace and the office looks like it has the original paint job. Then drove into the community, dodging potholes, and looked at the comfort station that was supposed to be re-modeled and there again it is an eye sore with non matching siding and no paint or finish on the siding with some of the stations with original and new siding that again is a disgrace to property owners that pay the highest dues of anyplace in the Pocono's!! If we paid contractors to do that work we should get a refund. Why can't we at least paint the buildings the same color or something because I would be embarassed to say we paid someone to do that shoddy work. Has the board seen the condition of the buildings and the roads lately or do they think that everything is great!!.. Let me tell you something if that's their attitude maybe we should elect a completely new board and start over because all we are doing is going down hill with the appearance of the community and no one, board or management seems to care just eat up our money on law suits that are dragging on for another year with no end in sight, sure wish I was the lawyer for LA let's see the going rate for a lawyer is around $ 200 to $250 an hour and where do we stand???... I hope the board members read this blog and take a ride around the community and observe the way it looks and see if they are proud of it.

This is the first time I am on this blog and most likely my last.... technology.....anonymity... cowardnesss... pretty must sums up this whole site. b*tchin about the problems in LACA: the gate house, the laundry room and the confort stations. waaaaah waaaaah waaaaaah. REALLY? Is this going to solve anything? By the way if you weren't such an ignoreant person, even with the smallest grain of common sense, you would realize that the job is OBVIOUSLY not finished yet. duh! Potholes? really? Its not even that bad. Plus potholes are problems that can be solved within a week tops. LACA has far larger issues. Wake up and smell the coffee. LACA is a divided community that can not prevail against a united township. Your worried about potholes and paint?

they see it and if you were to talk to them they are proud of what they have done.this is what you get when you hire a property manager with NO property manager skills,this is what our board members decided was the best choice and as you can see they are wrong,once again this is why we need a management company to come in and review what has been going on and to correct this mess,what i still cant understand is if the board cares so much then why not look into this?please dont tell me we tried this once before and it failed so move on and bring in another one,we all have so much invested and our values just keep going down....
