You misunderstood what I said. The 9000 sq ft is for furure development, Lake Adventure currently exists and I bought a lot that was previosly created under the Zoning Code at the time of Lake Adventures development. If someone were to develop a new camp resort they would need a minimum of 9000 sq ft per site. And for the record IF someone is found to be in violation of a Zoning provision they CAN be forced to file for a variance AFTER the fact. Lets stop the infighting and playing the " I gotcha" game and deal with reality and the issues that truly matter. In other words relax cause this is not as bad as some are making it out to be.

This is neither I "gotcha" or a game. This ord. & the 9,000 sq. ft. most certainly do not pertain to future development, otherwise the entire ord. could or would be interpreted that way. You seem to forget, or perhaps unaware, of the fact that this ord. was passed specifically about an alleged problem at LA. The meeting with Dingman officials regarding said ord. was with our representatives and attorney & some p/o. I suggest you go back and read the minutes of the meetings and the postings by our attorney and other p/o on this blog. If placements at LA were in vioation prior to this ord., which must be the case since we are grandfathered then such placements were already in violation, there wouldn't be the necessity to pass a new ord., would there ? Sure, you can be made to get a variance after the fact, and maybe dance on your head, but a variance is (supposed) to be issued prior to a stucture,improvement etc, being performed that would be in violation. That's why it's called a variance, you are varying from the current law, & you are supposed to get prior approval.
