I completely agree with you and have said all along, or tried to, explain why this ord. is illegal. Unfortunately, as you state yourself, "legally" cannot etc. I could probably type a few pages about the ord. being illegal, according to hours and hours of research. Not to be wise, but it's also illegal to commit murder, but many innocent people are still murdered each and every day. My point is what I've been saying all along. We have to get this ord. before a court of law. As individuals, it would be too expensive. I still can't figure out why the BOD is sitting on u-know-what and accepting the ord. that passed last year and insist we got a good deal. Legal or not, they can get away with imposing this on us until a court rules otherwise.

I agree with you completely and that question needs to be asked, and more importantly, answered on Saturday in no uncertain terms. I have never been to one of these meetings before being a newcomer but if I am to understand correctly there is only a 30 minute Q & A session, I think there needs to be a line drawn on the beach that no BOD member is allowed to leave until there is some sense of direction as to what exactly we are dealing with and what they are going to do to address whatever the situation is relevant to all of this.

I spoke to a fellow bod member this weekend. According to this bod member they are in agreement that what the township stated in the Dec. Meeting is not what's happening now and that the community may have to take the township to court. They are just as disgusted as we are with the township actions. They are also being approached at there trailers almost every weekend by property owners complaining about the NCP and the demands by the township. The township passed this NCP was shoved down our throats the community had no choice but base on the Dec. meeting they thought this wasn't as bad as the first proposal but they were going to see if they were going to pull anything before filing a law suit against the township.

That's the problem, waiting to see what "they" are going to pull before filing a lawsuit. Absolutley the wrong approach. Would you wait to see if you'll have an accident before tou decide to fix your defective brakes ? Will repeat again, by signing the request for a NCP, you are ADMITTING GUILT. Read what you have signed or are going to sign. The app. states "Nature of non-conformance(check all that apply)". Then goes on to say "I have enclosed"---"survey map of the property which shows all the structures/vehicles on the property and the extent of non-conformance." The BOD/community "may have to take the township to court". This is a load of --- this should have been done immediately upon the ord. being passed. at the very least "we" should have seen if an injunction could have been put in place until it could be heard in court. If the BOD are in the least bit disgusted, they'd be exploring our legal options. I'm not buying it. When I see some legal action on the BOD part against this ord., only then will I change my mind. P.S. once you agree to and sign the app. for non-conforming use, it will be much more difficult to prevail in court.
