Hi Its me again Bob Trezza the guy who started all this mess with the township and the ordinance problems I have not spoken about any of the concerns or responses because I wanted all this B.S. behind me. This is what I think to the approved ordinance, I am very happy about it I don't think we could have asked for a better solution , believe me I for one am not A BIG FAN OF DINGMAN TOWNSHIP and their zoning officer who put me through HELL this past summer,I ran a one man campaign this summer to try to enlighten the community and the BOD of our problems I think I have won my battle. I want to thank my lawyer Scott Amori who was instrumental in obtaining this out come, not Tammy Clause, who took over the reins once Scott finished my case. He presented a case that got the ball rolling for the community .Thank You Scott. I want to thank the BOD for their support after they saw the light of day as to how this would effect our community. Believe me I said a lot of bad things about a lot of people but I did get results. If I have offended anyone, I am sorry, but I think, in the long run, it was all worth it . After 30 summers, this being my worse, I believe, with all my heart, that LA is on the road to a better future . I do believe that maybe we as a community can work with the town to work out our problems . For those that want to go on fighting for one reason or another, give up . We won this fight we, or most of us, are at LA for a season. Do we want to spend time in court or fighting a battle that already has been won . Think about it as I have. $6,000 dollars to move a thirty year old trailer vs $50 to file a permit. Or, perhaps endless legal fees, that we would all have to pay at some point in time
.If the permit fee increases the bank account by $80000 or so of the township GOD Bless them I pray that they will never have to use this money for a disaster . Maybe they could use it by training their personnel in the proper way of dealing with the public who pay taxes and supports the local community. I do hope that the extra money they raise by collecting the $50 permit fee is put to improving Dingman township as a whole. I want to wish the BOD, the Dingman town Supervisors and the entire LA community a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR lets pray for peace so our soldiers can come home , when we look at the whole picture we all are truly blessed and the problems we have just encountered at LA is very miniscule let us all pray for the BOD to led us in the right direction in 2010 and that the supervisors of Dingman will see the light and finally accept LA as a community of hard working and retired people who only want to enjoy the beauty of the pocono mountains during the seasons that we are there . I am so glad you are happy but didn't you go to the town and start all this? Your lawyer may have thought it was a good deal FOR YOU but he has no right speaking for the community. I can't imagine that everyone will be happy with the results and having to pay $50 if their shed or deck is a foot over the line. Every thing was fine at LA until property owners had grudges against the board and compliance officer who would not let them do anything they want and went running to the township, you all know who you are, and this started all of this mess so now 75% of the owners will suffer. People knock the board when they can't do what they want and this blog seems to promote this well, will you spend the time they spend working for the community, come up to LA for meetings all winter in bad weather, take the abuse IN THIS BLOG and still try to work for everyone even though it seems people are against them and single out certain board members for praise where everyone on the board deserves praise. I am not a big reader of this blog but the reason I read it now is because I was called by a neighbor to read the results of the township fiasco and I must say after reading some of these entries people should feel ashamed of how they knock the board members, did these people attend the meetings with the township to support LA or sit back in nice warm living rooms then throw stones at the people who were there fighting for everyone!! If you can't contribute to the well being of LA don't knock the people who are trying to. Your board, property manager and some property owners were there for support, according to the news media, and I'm sure some were there who complained to Dingmans and I hope you're going to be happy two years down the road when Dingmans comes back with more changes and thank the people who started this.SUPPORT YOUR BOARD AND MANAGER!!!
