You truly live in a perfect world and may God bless you for that. With that said lets look at the underlying history of LA shall we. You said you did research? Well heres the background of LA. If one harkens back to the original site plan agreement between the Township and LA back in the 70s one will find that this campground was designed and approved by the Township as a RV park. RV not mobile homes. In addition to that part of the original agreement was for the campground to police itself by virtue of hiring a compliance officer. I am admittedly going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the Township required this afterall 1700 spots is like taking on a whole other town and I am sure to spare the impact of having to hire additional Township employees this was the best for the Township. Fast forward some thirty years and guess what. Things did not go quite as planned. Did language appear and disappear over time regarding mobile homes? Apparently but no matter what that case might be we have failed miserably at policing ourselves and the very idea of having the campground pay a person to enforce the Townships rules was probably doomed to begin with but never the less our site plan will pervail in any court in the land. Don't believe me? Think about this. Why is our Attorney, who seems very capable,not running to a Court of law? Because shes smart enough to realize she needs to reach a deal with the Township since we don't stand a prayer in court. If you don't believe me rather than attack me use that effort to do some real deep research and you soon will be saying "oh Sh*t! All the best.

Thanks for the history lesson, am not being sarcastic. I did a lot of researh pertaining to Pa. law and Federal. I posted a lot prev. so will try to be brief. We are using our property in accordance with what LA is zoned for. Moveable property statutes differ from immoveable. For a town ord. to be legal it must meet certain requirements (Pa. State Law). The ord. fails legally on those requirements. If you read the ord. it is illegal by State & Federal statutes. Ex. Their requirment of obtaining a permit if you are a transient is illegal, and technically by law, we are all transisents. Their definition of a structure and how it is used in the ord. is illegal. I know, we are structures, but not in the context of what the ord. states, since your lawn chair is also a structure. I also researched Pa. court cases about town ords. And frankly, the courts ruled against the ord. in cases where I didn't think they would. Our case against the ords. is much stronger than some that the court ruled against. I totally agree with you that if we can come to an agreement with the town would be better. Our attorney has used material I sent to the BOD pointing out these ILLEGAL ords. in arguing our case. If you can check back onthe archives of this site, yoh will read rather detailed legal info. on this discussion. I wasn't aware I was attacking anyone, just the contrary, with having rec'd enough insults that I didn't bother posting for some time. In closing, about having a PW, and not air "our dirty laundry". You either have forgotten or unaware that at least 2 newspapers have reported on the "dirty laundry" at LA. The only exception is I haven't seen any reports ref. the break-ins, but they have reported on everything else that confronts us, from the town ords., meetings, sewage problems--
RV can be up to 400 sq. ft., over 400 q. ft. it's classified as a mobile home. so we are in compliance up to 400 sq. ft.
